Bonava

 – There has been a great deal of interest from customers in Seminariet and we have reached a good booking ratio. We have worked with this project for many years and are delighted to provide Uppsala residents with new homes of the highest quality. In addition, Bonava is sprucing up the Seminarie Park, which will be delivered to the municipality and will be accessible to the public, says Michael Björklund, Business Unit President, Bonava.

The new neighbourhood is located in Luthagen close to central Uppsala. Schools, preschools, public transport, services and a wide range of cultural activities are available in the area. Over time, Bonava will construct three buildings, with housing units varying from 1 to 5 rooms and 33–125 square metres. Residents will have access to a sauna and relax space, a community events space and bookable overnight accommodation.

According to Uppsala Municipality, about 2,000–3,000 new housing units need to be built per year to meet rising housing demand. Bonava has operated in the city for many years and created several neighbourhoods, including Kapellgärdet with approximately 1,000 housing units, Kungsträdgårdarna with about 350 units and Nästet with just over 70 units.
