Attendo opens two new care homes in Kirkkonummi, Finland

Attendo's two new care homes in Kirkkonummi have now been completed. Attendo Salmikoti provides elderly care, while Attendo Kotikulma offers support for people with disabilities. The first residents are expected to move into Salmikoti at the end of October 2026 and into Kotikulma around the turn of the year 2026/2027. Both homes offer safe and accessible environments with care and support tailored to each resident's individual needs.

Attendo Salmikoti is a care home for elderly people with 60 apartments across two floors. The home is divided into two smaller residential units, each with 30 apartments.

” At Attendo Salmikoti, we want to give every care recipient the opportunity to enjoy an everyday life that feels like their own, in a safe and homely environment. We are very pleased with the new care home and look forward to welcoming the first care recipients to their new home,” says Virve Huhtakangas, Regional Director in Helsinki and Kirkkonummi at Attendo Finland.

In the same building, on the ground floor, is Attendo Kotikulma, which provides support for people with disabilities. The home has 15 apartments and offers individually tailored, round-the-clock support.

” At Attendo Kotikulma, we work to strengthen each resident's independence and ability to manage everyday life. We encourage and support everyone to take part in daily chores and shared activities according to their individual abilities. Activities are planned together with the residents and based on their wishes,” says Katri Malin, Regional Director in Kymenlaakso and Uusimaa at Attendo Finland.
