Lokal 12 will have grilled food as its clear focus, which sets it apart from other businesses within the group. At the same time, guests will recognize the high quality, with Nordic ingredients at the center and flavour influences from around the world. Just like the nearby Lokal 17 at Hjälmarekajen, the restaurant will offer daily lunch and create opportunities for companies to book meetings and events such as cook-alongs, catering, food trucks, and wine tastings.

The new restaurant is planned to open on August 24.

Pembert & Company started in 2015 as a catering business and has since grown to include Lokal 17, Jägersro Travrestaurang and Amiralen in Malmö, Lokal 4 at Science Village in Lund, and Alnarp 9 in Alnarp. The company was founded by the highly experienced chef Daniel Pembert, who today runs the business together with Tommy Nilsson.

“The excellent location at the World Trade Center in Västra Hamnen gives us a great opportunity to further develop our offering in Malmö. The concept is close to what we do at Lokal 17, where the operations can strengthen each other and create a cohesive whole in the area. The premises will be opened up further with a mobile kitchen island, giving guests a sense of being close to the kitchen, where the chefs become part of the experience,” says Daniel Pembert at Pembert & Company.
