W5 Solutions sign a Subcontracting framework agreement with Thales.

The Nordic defence group W5 Solutions has signed this 15-years agreement with French Thales Group for the development and manufacturing of innovative energy solution for Aerospace applications.

We take great pride in the trust symbolised by this first collaboration with Thales. It marks a significant export success for W5 Solutions and we see a potential for others business developments with Thales. The agreement strengthens our presence in the French market and positions us as a reliable stakeholder in the industry," says Evelina Hedskog, President and CEO of W5 Solutions.
 
W5's subsidiary ArcQor has signed the agreement regarding Li-lon battery packs with Thales. The first order within the subcontracting framework agreement was placed with expected deliveries until 2025.
 
A test and verification period will take place from August this year until the end of 2024, thereafter series production will begin in 2025 with potential additional serial orders up to 2035.
