W5 Solutions receives genset order from Saab

The fast-growing and high-technology Swedish defence company W5 Solutions, listed on Nasdaq First North, receives an order from Saab to deliver gensets. The order includes development and manufacturing of advanced gensets intended for vehicle integration. The value of the order amounts to SEK 15 million and will be delivered during 2023-2024.

"Thanks to our flexible and agile way of working, we can quickly adapt to meet our customers' needs in terms of technical performance and delivery time. W5 is a well-established supplier to Saab. With this order we take another important step forward, further strengthening our collaboration. These 14 kVA gensets, are the result of our continuous effort to deliver innovative and reliable solutions within the power supply field," says Johan Schmitz, Sales Manager at W5 Solutions.

The tactical gensets from W5 are designed to provide reliable power supply during tough conditions and they are featuring modern technology to fulfill military requirements. Our power supply product line is modular and covers the power range from 2 to 40 kVA. Each variant is optimized against the customer needs and can be integrated into vehicles, installed in containers or used as stand-alone mobile units.
