Unibap AB have taken the decision to stop further collaboration with Northvolt Revolt AB
Unibap AB (Publ) have after discussions with Northvolt concluded that we will not further extend the ongoing collaboration. This due to the reason that we have not been able to reach an agreement in the long-term commercial model. This will in addition with a high probability also affect our contribution in the ongoing Vinnova project "Semi-automated Dismantling System for Battery Metal Recovery and Recycling."
- We regret to see that we have not been able to find a solid long term commercial agreement for this collaboration in a very exiting area in which we have made great technical progress together. We do however always have to evaluate that our businesses have a commercial and long-term strategical benefit before we continue to invest. Based on that, we have after careful consideration ended up in this decision. Available resources will be allocated to projects that are closer to commercialization and accelerate the development in our core offering. We wish Northvolt all success in the long-term project and will act to support or enable that the Vinnova project "Semi-automated Dismantling System for Battery Metal Recovery and Recycling" can continue in another setup or form, says Lena W Jansson, CEO
