Board member Jan Barchan resigns from Studsvik's board of directors
Board member Jan Barchan has today announced that he requests his own resignation from Studsvik's board of directors. Jan Barchan has expressed his wish to step back from formal board duties after many years of service, in light of his age and in the interest of facilitating a generational renewal within the board. Jan Barchan has been a board member of Studsvik since 2004. He remains fully supportive of Studsvik's continued development and of the major shareholder Armada Investment's strategy and long-term direction
"On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Jan Barchan for his many years of commitment and valuable contributions to Studsvik's development", says Jan Bardell, Chairman of the board of Studsvik.
"Jan Barchan has been a steadfast and prudent steward of Studsvik for over two decades. When many peers in the nuclear industry faltered, Studsvik found a way - a testament to Jan's and the board's strategic leadership. Today, Studsvik stands well-positioned to enter an exciting new chapter of growth and entrepreneurial dynamism", says Daniel S. Aegerter, Armada Investment AG.
