MindArk is a Swedish digital entertainment company that has been developing and operating Entropia Universe since 2003. Entropia Universe, one of the world's first MMORPGs, is a virtual universe where users can create their personal avatars and operate in a science-fiction-inspired environment. The software is provided globally and free of charge with the possibility to spend money in the virtual universe for anyone with internet and PC access. Entropia Universe consists of a "Real-Cash-Economy" (RCE), a digital economy where raw materials, materials, land and buildings are represented as digital assets, each with a calculated base value. The company hopes that the listing will strengthen MindArk's brand awareness and facilitate future expansion.
