OptiCept enters into an agreement with Spira blommor - OptiBoost treated roses to be sold in one of Sweden's leading retail chains
OptiCept Technologies, via its partner APH, has today started a project for blind tests with Spira Blommor AB, one of Sweden's leading players in the flower trade. Within the framework of the project, flowers are to be delivered to one of Sweden's leading grocery retail chains to analyze the results regarding improved sustainability, increased sales, and reduced wastage.
The project is planned to start from the end of September and continue until the turn of the year. The flowers will be processed at APH in Malmö and then delivered to the stores.
"Sustainability and quality are important to us, we are full of anticipation for how OptiBoost can contribute to developing this work. We are looking forward to the results", says Jonas Kaveryd CEO Spira blommor AB
Spira blommor today delivers flowers to approx. 800 stores in Sweden and is one of the largest flower wholesalers in Sweden. They are also, via their parent group, active internationally and deliver flowers to more than 25 countries in Europe.
"APH, which was the first with the OptiBoost technology in Sweden, is an important ambassador and partner for OptiBoost. We have achieved very good results from similar projects, and it is gratifying to now start further cooperation. We believe OptiBoost will make a big difference in this project as well and contribute to increased sustainability, improved quality, and reduced wastage. ” says Thomas Lundqvist, CEO of OptiCept Technologies
