Nexam Chemical
First order from new High Temperature customer
Nexam Chemical established contact with the new customer only in May of last year, an unusually quick process. The order is for additives used in so called wire enamels for metal wires used for electric motors, where wires are insulated with multiple layers of varnish, prior to the winding process. The insulating enamel provides high thermal resistance, mechanical stability, superior flexibility and resistance to chemicals and moisture, ensuring safe and stable operation of rotary equipment.
"We're pleased to be able to enter a significantly more dynamic and fast-moving segment within High Temperature, in addition to our existing business in aerospace, and also one that supports the global megatrend towards increasing electrification", says Ronnie Törnqvist, CEO of Nexam Chemical.
"Our co-operation with the new customer started as late as May 2023, and has now moved over into a first commercial order, with an even bigger joint project in the pipeline for the next years. This clearly shows our ability to work with demanding customers across a broad spectrum of industries and applications, and deliver solutions that add clear value to our customers' products and propositions", says Henrik Bernquist, Business Manager at Nexam Chemical.
