Mycronic receives order for two Prexision MMS
Mycronic AB (publ) has received a replacement order for two Prexision MMS from an existing customer, for delivery to Asia. The order value is in the range of USD 12-14 million. Delivery of one system is planned for the second quarter of 2025 and the other system for the second quarter of 2026.
Prexision MMS is a metrology system for quality assurance of photomasks for displays. Prexision MMS measures the position of the written pattern on the photomask. This is becoming ever more important to verify with high accuracy for advanced OLED displays, since the photomasks are becoming more complex, in combination with the need for more photomasks for each display design.
“This order underlines our ability to deliver high-end metrology systems for quality assurance of photomasks for the display industry”, says Charlott Samuelsson, Sr VP Pattern Generators at Mycronic.
Mycronic’s Pattern Generators division provides mask writers and metrology systems for display manufacturing and production of semiconductors.
