Knowit enters collaboration to support startups in electric mobility
Less than ten percent of all startups in the electric vehicle (EV) industry survive their first five years. To strengthen the ecosystem around EV startups and promote sustainable transportation, Knowit Swedspot, Vidde, and STILRIDE have decided to offer RapidRide free of cost to newly established mobility companies. This creates a possibility for startups to more quickly present concrete progress and functioning prototypes, which in turn creates better conditions for attracting potential investors.
Knowit Swedspot has been part of Knowit since 2022 and is an established software company with a focus on smart mobility solutions.
Driving force for innovation through partnership
"Our shared goal is to remove obstacles and free up the innovative power in the EV sector. RapidRide is an initiative where established companies collaborate to help new entities and pave the way for the mobility solutions of the future. The ultimate goal is to accelerate the transition to sustainable transportation," says Joakim Lundvall, Product Manager at Knowit Swedspot.
"The new platform was launched last week and we have already gotten several applications from startup companies that are interested in getting access to the RapidRide platform and our technical competence and consultancy," says Niclas Lindmark, CEO at Knowit Swedspot.
The software platform "RapidRide" will be offered entirely free of cost for up to three functioning prototypes. It was opened for applications last week and as the number of partnerships in 2025 is limited, startups are encouraged to apply quickly. Applications are made through www.rapidride.rocks
