Knowit
Knowit becomes strategic partner to Tet Digital in advancing sustainable mobility
Knowit has been awarded one of two framework agreements for consultancy services to Tet Digital AS, valued at a total of approximately NOK 1.1 billion over a period of up to six years. Together with consultancy firm Bekk, Knowit will help build Tet Digital’s capacity and competence within product development, technology, design, and data & insights – and support the development of a strong, learning-oriented, and sustainable digital organisation. The framework agreement runs for two years, with options for an additional four, up to a total of six years.
Tet Digital AS is owned by Ruter AS, Skyss (Vestland County Authority) and Agder Kollektivtrafikk AS, and has a public mission to develop digital solutions for sustainable mobility and improved customer experiences.
Through the framework agreement, Knowit will contribute to building one of Norway’s leading competence environments within digital mobility, with a strong emphasis on competence development, knowledge sharing, and the development of agile product teams that support Tet Digital’s mission.
Long-standing collaboration expands further
Knowit has held key consulting roles at Tet Digital since the company was established, and previously at Ruter. This collaboration has helped shape today’s digital mobility solutions. The new partnership marks a natural next step, where Knowit will take on an even more defined role in strengthening Tet Digital as an organisation.
“This is about building Tet Digital as an organisation, not just delivering capacity. We will strengthen their internal competence environment and create learning arenas that support continuous development,” says Magnus Alu Andersen, Key Account Manager at Knowit.
The collaboration also includes research and innovation, where Knowit will build on its experience from research-based projects and use insights to develop new methods, ways of working and technologies. The ambition is to translate research into practical improvements in how Tet Digital develops products, organises teams, and fosters everyday learning.
“This partnership is about more than consultancy support. We are building Tet Digital as a strategic capability for developing digital products for the mobility sector, and Knowit and Bekk will be important partners in strengthening our organisation and future deliveries,” says Endre Sundsal, CEO of Tet Digital.
“Through research-driven development and close collaboration, we aim to help Tet Digital become an even stronger driving force for sustainable mobility and social development,” says Amund Brandsrud, CEO Knowit Solutions Norway.
Knowit has been awarded the agreement together with Bekk, and the two companies will jointly support the development of Tet Digital’s digital capacity and competence. Knowit's expected share of the contract volume is approximately NOK 550 million. The collaboration is founded on a shared understanding of how cross-functional teams, continuous learning, and solid processes create lasting results.
In addition to Bekk, Knowit collaborates with several long-standing partners with experience from similar deliveries, ensuring breadth and depth in the competence offered to Tet Digital.
