Intea Acquires Healthcare Property in Västerås
Intea has acquired an audiology clinic in Västerås from Klockskeppet Holding AB. The lettable area, totalling 1,410 sqm, is fully leased by Region Västmanland. The underlying property value in the transaction amounted to SEK 46.0 million before deductions for deferred taxes, etc., of SEK 1.4 million.
The audiology clinic is located on the property Signalisten 20 and encompasses 5,048 sqm of land. The building underwent a complete renovation in 2023 and was customized for the tenant. The lease agreements extend until May 2035, with an annual rental value of SEK 3.0 million.
“We continue to add high-quality assets to our growing portfolio in the healthcare sector. This is our first acquisition in the city, where we see interesting opportunities for further growth,” says Peter Jacobsson, Head of Business Development and Projects.
The acquisition is being made indirectly through a company, and closing of the transaction is planned for November 1, 2024.
