Humana AB ("Humana") announced on 31 January 2023 that IVO had decided to revoke Humana Assistans' permit to conduct operations. On June 21, 2023, Humana announced that the Administrative Court had granted Humana Assistans' appeal, thereby overturning IVO's decision. The courts' decision remains after IVO decided not to appeal the Administrative Courts decision.

-The Administrative Court was very clear in its decision, but today we are pleased to be able to put the permit issue totally behind us. The assistance reform is safer today than yesterday, but we will continue to fight for its development and increased clarity, preferably together with the authorities, says Johanna Rastad, president and CEO of Humana.

-We take the criticism that has emerged to our hearts and will continue to work systematically with our quality work. We look forward to continuing the dialogue with both IVO and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency (Försäkringskassan), adds Johanna Rastad.
