Jonas Persson joined Zimpler during the company's early phase, a leading Swedish fintech company in digital instant payments (Pay-by-bank) that was recently acquired by TrueLayer, one of Europe's fastest growing payment players. During his more than ten years in the organization, he has played a key role in the development that has taken the company from an innovative payment startup to an established international player with a strong position in both merchant acquisition and market expansion. 

In his previous leadership roles, Jonas has driven strategic growth initiatives, optimized sales organizations and developed commercial frameworks. He has broadened the offering, developed the customer base and created structures that steer sales work towards the areas where the products and services create the greatest value. This ability to identify the right market focus and build sustainable structures in a regulated environment is central to GreenMerc's continued development. 

GreenMerc Finance in expansive phase, launches new services 

The recruitment takes place at the same time as GreenMerc Finance is in an intensive development phase. The company is preparing for the launch of new services in crowdfunding, crowdlending and payment services. 

These ventures are part of GreenMerc's strategic direction towards creating modern financial services that bridge the gap between traditional finance and the next-generation digital economy, including cryptoassets. 

Jonas' background makes him particularly suited to lead this venture. His many years of experience in the payments industry, combined with his deep understanding of how to create scalable solutions, adds an important strategic piece of the puzzle to GreenMerc's future offering.
