Fortnox

Fortnox har nu fattat beslut om att utnyttja möjligheten att köpa resterande del i bolaget och slutför förvärvet idag, den 14 juli. Köpeskillingen uppgår till 87,1 miljoner kronor - i linje med den värdering som kommunicerades i det ursprungliga offentliggörandet av förvärvet, i november 2021. 

Förvärvet av Capcito, som är en del av Fortnox fintechsatsning, förde med sig automatiserad långivning och fakturafinansiering till svenska små- och medelstora företag. Det inkluderade även plattformen Monto som medger kreditbedömningar i realtid baserad på data, bland annat från ledande affärssystem såsom Fortnox.

Fortnox completes acquisition of Capcito

In 2021, Fortnox acquired approximately 78 percent of Capcito Finance AB, with an option to buy the remaining part at a later stage. Capcito was consolidated as of December the same year and has, since then, been part of the business area Financial Services. 

Fortnox has now decided to execute on the option to buy the remaining stake in a deal which will be closed today, July 14. The purchase price totals SEK 87,1 million, in line with the valuation communicated in the original announcement of the acquisition, in November 2021.

The acquisition of Capcito - part of Fortnox’s ambition to grow within fintech - added an automated lending and factoring offer for Swedish SMEs. It also included the Monto platform which offers real-time credit scoring based on, for example, data from leading ERP systems - such as Fortnox.
