Fortnox exercises warrants in Mynt
Fortnox is taking the next step in its successful partnership with Mynt AB (“Mynt”) by acquiring shares in Mynt through the exercise of previously agreed warrants. Following the transaction, Fortnox owns approximately 5.5 percent of the outstanding shares in Mynt.
On April 25, 2022, Mynt and Fortnox entered into a partnership regarding the Fortnox Business Card based on Mynt’s card issuance. The agreement also included the option for Fortnox to acquire shares in Mynt after three years. Today, Fortnox has acquired 198,807 shares in Mynt for a total of SEK 28,230,594.
“This is a natural next step for our collaboration. The partnership with Mynt has been important for our expense management offering. By becoming a shareholder, we can further strengthen the collaboration and develop future solutions together,” says Roger Hartelius, Acting CEO of Fortnox.
The Fortnox Business Card, launched through the partnership with Mynt, is today a growing part of Fortnox's payments offering. The free card simplifies businesses’ expense management through a seamless part of Fortnox’s workflow for expenses, receipt handling, and salary payments. Over 8,000 customers already use the card, and in March 2025, monthly usage surpassed SEK 100 million.
“Usage is expected to increase as more customers see the value and business benefits the card offers. We see great growth potential ahead and are convinced that the Fortnox Business Card will become a natural part of everyday life for even more businesses,” concludes Roger Hartelius.
