Ependion

The name Ependion takes inspiration from the Greek word for investment and reminds of the Group's main task: to invest in people, technologies and products that contribute to a safer connected world.

"The Group has developed positively in recent years, with strong development of our business but also changes in the organization. The name change gives us the opportunity to update the story of what we do, what we stand for and how we create value", says Jenny Sjödahl, President and CEO of Beijer Group.

The name change, which only concerns the group parent company and not the Beijer Electronics business entity, is on the agenda (amendment of the Articles of Association) in the notice convening the Annual General Meeting which will be published later today.

If the Annual General Meeting on May 10, 2023, approves the amendment to the Articles of Association, Beijer Electronics Group (BELE) will be traded on Nasdaq Stockholm Main Market's Mid Cap list as Ependion under the ticker EPEN. The name is a registered trademark in major markets.
