Eltel to deliver critical grid infrastructure for FCDC’s Data Center in Finland
Eltel has been awarded a contract valued at EUR 20 million to build the grid connection for FCDC’s Data Center in Karjaa, Finland.
The contract includes the turnkey delivery of a 110 kV substation and cabling connecting FCDC’s new Data Center site to Fingrid’s national transmission grid. The contract runs until the end of 2027.
As global demand for digital infrastructure, such as cloud services, artificial intelligence, and data processing, continues to accelerate, data center investments are rising rapidly across Europe. The Nordics have become an increasingly attractive destination for these projects thanks to its cool climate, reliable energy infrastructure, extensive fibre connectivity, and stable operating environment
