Eltel's team of technicians were assembled over the weekend from teams located across Finland. The technicians' tools and equipment were delivered to Ireland on a charter cargo flight, which also arrived in Ireland today, Tuesday. Following Storm Éowyn, approximately 600,000 customers (as at 11.30am on Tuesday) have had their power restored following Storm Éowyn, however, approx. 168,000 remain without electricity. ESB Networksis receiving support not only from Finland but also from electricity network operators in France, Austria, the Netherlands, and Great Britain.

As a critical network service provider, Eltel again demonstrated its agility and readiness by mobilizing the team in within 24 hours. This international effort highlights the expertise of our professionals and our strong commitment to ensuring the functionality of critical infrastructure, even in the most challenging circumstances in abroad.
