EdTech company Albert gives UK students over 600 free lessons to revise for the GCSEs

With GCSE exams closing in for UK teenagers, revision is more important than ever. In an effort to support students from all walks of life, Albert's teen segment now releases their lessons that combine UK pedagogy and Swedish EdTech capabilities.

“We want more students to get the chance to experience our platforms without money being an issue. It will also give us lots of feedback and data that will help us improve our exercises.” – Jonas Mårtensson, COO, Albert

The company, a leading edtech player headquartered in Sweden with a presence in the Nordics, UK, and continental Europe offers a maths and homework revision app and website for children and teenagers aged 10-16. Their UK content for the GCSEs has been developed by teachers and students in the UK and includes exercises for maths, biology, and physics. On the 15th of May, Year 11 students all over the UK will start sitting their GCSEs. Albert Teen, therefore sees this as an important time to release their exercises for free to help boost last-minute revision and provide a fresh new way to recap subject content.

“We have published over 600 lessons with about 15,000 exercises online specifically for GCSEs so that students can realize the benefits of using them. All exercises and activities are developed by experienced teachers, who know what you need to learn and the best ways to do so. But we also rely on feedback from students to ensure that every single exercise improves or reinforces their understanding.” – David Peterson, Product Manager, Albert
