Crunchfish are invited to attend the Digital Currency Awards ceremony at 5 pm CST on Thursday 18^th May on the main plenary stage of Digital Currency Conference (DCC) in Mexico City at 5 pm CST on Thursday 18^th May, where the winners will be announced. Crunchfish is nominated in the category Outstanding Advancement in Digital Currency. The category is open to companies that have created competition and transformed the way we experience digital currency. As it was a highly competitive process, Crunchfish are very proud and excited of being recognized. Immediately after the awards presentations their will be an evening cocktail reception, where Crunchfish will have the opportunity to network with some of the leading experts in the industry. Currency Research as organizer will shortly be posting a full list of finalists in each category on LinkedIn and their website.

Crunchfish have also been selected to pitch at the Fintech Innovation Showcase at DCC. Each company will be given a firm 10 minutes to showcase their project at 4.30 pm CST on Wednesday 17th May 2023. The other companies that have been selected to present at the Fintech Innovation Showcase are Cipher-Core, Currency Network, e-Currency, Fireblocks, FNA, Idemia, Progressoft, Ripple, and Wadzpay, of which some are well known to Crunchfish as we are in discussions of integrating Crunchfish Digital Cash with their product platforms.  

Crunchfish will be represented at the DCC by CEO Joachim Samuelsson who will participate as an expert in a panel on offline payments and give a presentation on the theme Central Banks should modernize payments. Who else would? Central Bank Payment News are providing the supplement An Inflection Point for Global Payments: Industry Perspectives in 2023 with showcase case studies and perspectives from industry experts, where Crunchfish are featured with an article with the same title as the presentation.
