Uppdatering USA-marknaden
BrainCool har under juni genomfört ett antal aktiviteter efter det att distributionsavtalet med ZOLL slöts den 30 maj ( www.braincool.se/17/28/post/?slug=braincool-ab-publ-genombrott-for-braincool-med-order-pa-minst-100-mkr-samtidigt-som-ett-exklusivt-distributions-och-partneravtal-tecknas-med-amerikanska-zoll-r ) En viktig långsiktig del för marknadspenetration är att fortsätta etablera produkten i så kallade GPO-strukturer (inköpsorganisationer). Nedanstående PM distribueras idag av BrainCool Inc då produkten IQOOL™System har valts ut som en kandidat till att bli en unik produkt inom USA:s största inköpsorganisation Vizient.

Övrig info
· Den 1 juni, sades fem anställda inom BrainCool Inc upp med 14 dagars uppsägningstid som en konsekvens av avtalet med ZOLL.
· Bolaget har erbjudits ett snabbspår till ny kund i form av USA:s näst största inköpsorganisation Premiere via samarbetet med ZOLL inom ramen för parternas avtal. Avtalet förväntas träda i kraft redan i juli.
· IQOOL™ System kommer härutöver anslutas till ZOLLs avtal med US Department of Veterans affair (Veterans Health Administration (https://www.va.gov/HEALTH/) Det innebär en stor potential då BrainCool inte har varit ett alternativ som leverantör tidigare som ett icke-amerikanskt bolag.
· Utbildning och träning av ZOLLs försäljning- och supportpersonal har inletts och genomförts liksom ett antal presentationer för sjukhussystem.
· ZOLL har lagt en ny order om 20 IQOOL™ System från BrainCools innevarande lager som är utöver den lagda ordern i avtalet som skall börja levereras april 1 2024.

BrainCool Inc Selected to Exhibit The IQool System at Vizient Innovative Technology Exchange
 
Annapolis, MD, May 26, 2023—BrainCool Inc. has been selected to exhibit The IQool™ System, which comprises a control unit and skin friendly, non-adhesive disposables applied directly to the patient’s skin thereby delivering best in class advanced targeted temperature management (TTM); at the Vizient Innovative Technology Exchange. Vizient, Inc, the nation’s largest member-driven healthcare performance improvement company, will hold the Exchange on Oct. 3 in Grapevine, Texas.
 
The annual Innovative Technology Exchange offers selected suppliers the unique opportunity to demonstrate their product or service to supply chain and clinical leaders from Vizient’s member hospitals and subject matter experts who serve on their supply councils. Each product or service will showcase how it improves clinical outcomes, enhances safety, or drives incremental improvements to health care delivery or business models.
 
The IQool™ System allows for a nurse driven protocol, thereby cutting down on the time it takes to initiate TTM therapy. The control unit is user friendly enabling clinicians to manage their patients rather than a device throughout the therapy duration. The IQool disposables are skin friendly, non-adhesive, allow for quick access to the patient’s body, last the continuum of care, and provide significant cost savings.

The annual Innovative Technology Exchange is part of Vizient’s Innovative Technology Program that includes product review of supplier-submitted technologies by member-led councils and task forces.
