A Merger of Companies within Addnode Group with focus on Sustainable Urban Development
Addnode Group announced today that the sister companies Sokigo and S-GROUP Solutions in the Process Management division are merging. The merger means that we will be able to offer Swedish municipalities improved conditions for sustainable urban development and an uninterrupted digital urban development process. The new company Sokigo will consist of almost 300 employees. As previously announced, the offer of digital solutions for the forest sector and other basic industries is being transferred from Sokigo to the new company Icebound.
The merger means that Sokigo will be able to offer Swedish municipalities improved conditions for sustainable urban development and an uninterrupted digital urban development process. Joint expert resources within municipal operations, a broad product portfolio and collaborations with partners such as ESRI, a foundation is created for increased innovation power. Sokigo will now be able to offer a stronger and more comprehensive range of geodata services and product offerings to support the needs of both our customers of today and the digital municipalities of tomorrow. Together, we can increase the pace of giving Sweden's municipalities access to world-leading technology for data-driven GIS-based insights and decisions.
”Sokigo will consist of almost 300 employees and thanks to the merger we will be able to contribute to increased social benefits and value for municipal operations through the solutions we provide. With great joy I look forward to see the new Sokigo's capacity for customer-oriented innovation and new integrations that will lead the development of a sustainable and digital society forward”, says Andreas Wikholm, Division President Process Management, Addnode Group.
