Xer Technologies Receives Follow-up Order from Independent Systems Integrator, PLATH
Configured with multiple payloads, the X8 PRO will provide an airborne Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capability that can be rapidly deployed from austere environments. Designed for multiple operations, the platform combines vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) capability with long endurance and low logistical requirements, enabling operators to establish persistent situational awareness without the need for prepared infrastructure.
The X8 PRO's modular architecture supports the integration of a range of electro-optical, infrared, and mission-specific payloads, allowing the system to adapt to evolving operational requirements. Its compact design, rapid deployment, and autonomous flight capabilities make it well suited for missions where extended endurance, flexibility, and resilience are critical.
Plath CEO Statement
"Modern intelligence missions require more than a standard sensor setup. They require systems that are designed around the operational use case. Together with Xer, we combine a capable airborne platform with PLATH's integration expertise to configure mission-specific sensor payloads for demanding ISR applications", says Gregor Zowierucha, CEO, PLATH GmbH & Co. KG.
Xer Technologies CEO Statement
"Plath's follow-on order is a strong vote of confidence in both Xer Technologies and the X8 PRO, reflecting the platform's proven operational performance. We're proud that the X8 PRO continues to demonstrate its capability and reliability in highly contested environments, where resilient UAS performance is critical to mission success", says Erik Herlyn, CEO of Xer Technologies AG.
