VBG Group completes acquisition of Rathi Transpower Pvt. Limited

On September 13, 2023, VBG Group announced an agreement to acquire all shares in the Indian company Rathi Transpower Pvt. Limited. The acquisition is now completed. The transaction was settled on the 9th of November.

Rathi Transpower Pvt. Limited develops, manufactures, and markets a wide range of coupling products and coupling solutions for advanced applications in industrial segments. Following the acquisition, the company will be part of VBG Group's Ringfeder Power Transmission division. The acquisition was fully financed through existing credit facilities.

"The acquisition is strategically important for us in our ambition to grow as an industrial group. The acquisition strengthens our presence in the expanding Indian market”, says Anders Erkén President & CEO of VBG Group.

The acquisition will have limited impact on VBG Group’s result 2023.
