Bioextrax: Taking steps in the right direction

Bioextrax's Q2 2026 was in line with expectations, EBIT came in at MSEK -4.9 against an estimated -4.1, while cash was stronger than expected (MSEK 7.4 vs. 6.3). The company has signed a framework agreement with one of the world's top three chemical companies, with PHO as a film former and PHBV as an SPF booster in sunscreen the most likely candidates within personal care, while the chewing gum project with the candy producer is postponed due to the client's internal reorganisation. Meanwhile, Chematur's West Asian client has wired the upfront payment and the basic engineering phase has commenced, bringing Bioextrax its first revenues from the project. We leave our fair value unchanged at SEK 3.7 per share.
