Building on Skanska's current facilities management provision at Northwood (consisting of hard and soft services across the whole estate), the contract will see the elements of the services subject to mid-term review renewed for a further seven years from November 2024.

Northwood HQ is a UK military headquarters, which also hosts a NATO headquarters. Approximately 2,000 people work on the site and there is accommodation for around a third of those on the base.
