Skanska invests PLN 241M, about SEK 630M, in the first phase of a residential complex in Kraków, Poland
The new residential project will feature a building with 278 apartments of various sizes and six commercial units. Located within close proximity to Kraków's Main Square and Central Railway Station, Awangarda Mogilska is designed to provide a balance between city life and comfort, with a strong focus on sustainability.
The project will combine photovoltaic panels and a heat recovery system that utilizes a heat pump to warm water. Additionally, a rooftop solar power plant will reduce residents' electricity consumption. Anti-smog ventilation inlets in windows and walls will improve indoor air quality and the buildings will feature smart home solutions, including the Appartme system, enabling remote or manual control of heating, electrical appliances, and water usage.
Construction work for the first phase is scheduled to begin in August 2025 and is due for completion in March 2028.
Awangarda Mogilska comprises three phases and approximately 500 apartments.
