Skanska invests about SEK 250M in residential project in Uppsala, Sweden
The apartments are built in sizes between one and five rooms and kitchens. Most with a balcony or patio. Sustainability permeates the project from start to finish. The house is built in concrete with a lower climate impact. Energy use is kept low through facades and windows that maintain high energy efficiency. Solar cells on the roofs and waste heat exchangers ensure lower energy costs. Like all of Skanska's own housing projects in Sweden, the houses will be certified according to the Nordic Ecolabel.
Construction of the third phase will begin in February 2026 and the houses are expected to be ready for occupancy in the fall of 2027.
