Marstrom Composite has signed a five-year framework agreement worth approximately 100 MSEK with a leading western defence industry company

Scandinavian Astor Group AB (publ) (“Astor Group” or the “Company”) announces today that its subsidiary Marstrom Composite AB (“Marstrom”) has entered into a five-year framework agreement with a leading western defence industry company. The agreement covers the supply of advanced composite products for defence-related applications and has a total contract value of approximately SEK 100 million over the contract period. The agreement establishes a long-term contractual structure with agreed delivery volumes, which strengthens Marstrom’s position as a supplier to international defence programmes and lays the foundation for continued, deeper cooperation between the parties.

“For Astor, this type of multi-year framework agreement is of great strategic importance. When a leading international defence company chooses to enter into a long-term partnership with agreed delivery volumes, it is a clear expression of the trust our company has built up through high technical expertise, quality and delivery reliability. This type of agreement creates greater predictability in our operations and is an important part of our ambition to build long-term industrial partnerships within the Western defence industry,” comments Martin Elovsson, CEO of Astor Group.

The agreement covers series production of specific structural composite components with high standards of precision, performance and quality. The framework agreement sets out the terms and conditions for future purchases, which will be placed on an ongoing basis depending on the customer’s needs and the progress of the projects. The agreement forms an important basis for continued long-term and in-depth cooperation between the parties and creates the conditions for stable planning and efficient delivery capacity.

“This framework agreement is an important step for Marstrom. Developing long-term partnerships with agreed delivery volumes creates greater predictability for both parties and is a strong testament to the trust we have built through our technical expertise, quality and delivery capability. We look forward to continuing to develop this partnership in the coming years”, says Fredrik Lindblom, CEO of Marstrom.

Marstrom specialises in advanced carbon fibre composites and structural solutions for demanding environments. The company has extensive experience in supplying components to both the defence and civil industries, where high demands are placed on strength, weight optimisation and reliability. In recent years, Marstrom Composite has invested in capacity, quality systems and production infrastructure to meet the increased demands of the defence sector.
