Stockholm, 13 May 2025 | Safello, the leading cryptocurrency exchange in the Nordics, announces a strategic shift in its treasury allocation by divesting a portion of its bitcoin (BTC) holdings and acquiring TAO, the native token of the decentralized AI protocol Bittensor.

The move marks the company’s first material investment in decentralized AI infrastructure. TAO will serve as a long-term strategic treasury reserve asset, held alongside BTC, and used to diversify Safello’s exposure to emerging crypto-economic systems.

On May 8, Safello sold 1 BTC and acquired 239.8 TAO. The company intends to further increase its exposure to TAO via a dollar cost averaging strategy. Safello’s crypto treasury now consists of 9 BTC, 113 ETH, and 239,8 TAO.
