Safello’s CEO Emelie Moritz reflects on a year that marked a clear shift in how the market views bitcoin and other crypto assets. The driving forces behind this change are evident: regulatory progress, increased institutional adoption, and technological advancement.

“Safello has undertaken strategic changes throughout the year to strengthen our position as a leading player in the crypto industry. We started 2024  by successfully  migrating our system from Handelsbanken, focusing efforts on our robust,  high qualitative, financial infrastructure. During the year we’ve extended the coin offering on the platform to over 30 crypto currencies, still maintaining a rigorous product governance process. We’ve launched monthly and weekly savings in crypto, redesigned the app and added functionality for swapping in our product,” writes Emelie Moritz in the CEO’s statement.

Looking ahead, Safello is pursuing several strategic initiatives, including an enhanced trading experience with additional order types and an expanded offering of over 300 cryptocurrencies. Furthermore, the company is working to realise its strategy and product development towards a crypto banking offering, with key milestones such as payment accounts and cards, as well as global payment channels for stablecoins.
