The Croatian Red Cross in Zagreb has placed an order for a RescueRunner system.

The Red Cross is a global rescue organization engaged in various types of rescue missions worldwide. The Red Cross in Zagreb has now decided to order a RescueRunner system, which will be used to strengthen their water rescue capabilities in the region.

The RescueRunner system is a highly flexible and efficient boat system capable of operating in shallow and inaccessible waters. Key factors in the rescue service's decision were the system's durability, ease of operation, the waterjet propulsion allowing for navigation in shallow waters, and the unique feature of clearing the waterjet from the aft deck.

The RescueRunner system was originally developed by the Swedish Sea Rescue Society specifically for rescue operations in shallow and inaccessible areas where other boats cannot reach.

The RescueRunner system has already been well-proven by other Red Cross stations, and we are seeing more stations integrating the system into their critical operations.

"We are very grateful that Red Cross continue to recognize the versatility and capabilities of the RescueRunner system. We hope that the system will save many lives and that the Zagreb station will be satisfied with their new, efficient system," says Lukas Brehm, Head of Sales at Safe at Sea AB.

The RescueRunner system will be delivered in Q4 2024.

The order value is approximately SEK 560,000.
