Avinor has today placed an order for an additional SeaRanger system.
Avinor, the operator responsible for Norway's airports, has placed an order for an additional SeaRanger system, this time for use at Bodø Airport. The system is being acquired to meet the safety requirements and regulations for operations on and around the runways.
The SeaRanger, developed in collaboration with the South African National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI), is Safe at Sea’s largest rescue boat system, known for its exceptional load capacity, maneuverability, and stability.
“We are very pleased that Avinor is expanding its fleet of rescue boats with another SeaRanger system, enabling them to carry out their crucial work,” says Lukas Brehm, Vice President.
The system is scheduled for delivery in mid-Q4 2024, with the order valued at approximately SEK 620,000.
