Fifth store opening in three weeks - Rusta opens in Essen, Germany

Today, November 16, Rusta AB (publ) opens a store in Essen, Germany, which is the fifth opening within three weeks.

Today, Rusta opened a store in Essen, Germany. The store is located in a popular shopping area and has a sales area of around 2,000 square meters. This will be Rusta's 10th store in Germany since the market entry in 2017.

"I am delighted to take another step on our journey in Germany by opening our 10th store. It shows our belief in Germany as an important market", says Göran Westerberg, CEO Rusta.

Today's opening is the fifth in just three weeks. On October 25, Rusta opened stores in Notodden, Norway and in Oulu, Finland. On November 8 and 15, Rusta opened additional stores in Norway, in Lillehammer and Bamble, respectively. Rusta now has a total of 208 stores across the chain's four retail markets.

"Rusta stands strong and continues to invest in growth on all markets in line with the strategy we have had for many years. Much of that growth today occurs in markets outside Sweden, which is natural and of course very gratifying," says Göran Westerberg, CEO Rusta.
