Rejlers

Rejlers is responsible for developing a railway plan, including an environmental impact assessment, system document and tender documents for the procurement of a turnkey contract. The work also includes the investigation of alternative track locations, technical solutions and the management of the necessary permits. The assignment is carried out in collaboration with AECOM, on behalf of the Swedish Transport Administration.

The new meeting track is a key component in increasing capacity and improving punctuality on the currently single-track section between Kristianstad and Karlskrona – an important link with connections to Malmö and Copenhagen. The project is a central part of the Swedish Transport Administration's work to create a more flexible and reliable transport system for both freight and passenger traffic.
