Boho Group Receives Final Municipal Approval to Advance Boho Club Urban Transformation Project
Boho Group AB (publ) is pleased to announce that the Marbella Municipal Council has given its final approval to proceed with its own urban planning for Boho Club's properties. The decision follows the resolution or dismissal of all objections and appeals to the municipality's conditional approval, which was communicated by the company in a press release on May 2, 2025.
During yesterday’s municipal board meeting, the municipality confirmed that all objections and appeals raised during the public consultation phase have been resolved or dismissed. Consequently, the urban planning of the Boho Club plots will now proceed in accordance with the approved planning framework, enabling Boho Group to advance to the next stages of architectural design, technical planning, and permitting.
Within this framework, the current Boho Club complex, which today amounts to approximately 7 000 square meters, will be expanded to a built-up area of 28 400 square meters. The project consists of the further development of the Boho Club's luxury hotel and associated facilities, combining high-class hospitality, excellent design, and an integrated range of wellness and cultural offerings.
José Eduardo Díaz, Marbella's city planning deputy, commented in the Spanish media: “This project meets very important objectives for this municipal council, such as promoting a hotel that will maintain a much higher standard, protecting our trees and green spaces, and implementing a measure that will improve traffic flow in the area.”
Boho Group welcomes this approval and will continue to work with the municipality and project partners as our project progresses.
