Q-linea to participate in a multi-site public tender in Italy
Q-linea AB (publ) (OMX: QLINEA) announces participation in the 5-year Tender published by ASL Napoli 2 Nord for 4 rAST systems.
The tender has been issued following the recent publication of updated guidelines on ”Diagnosis and Management of Infections from Multidrug Resistant Bacterias” aiming to reduce identification and phenotypic antibiogram times for the administration of effective antibiotic therapy. The updated guidelines have been agreed by several Italian scientific societies as one of the ways to improve therapy in critically ill patients.
Expectations are for the tender process to be completed by the end of Q1 and installations operative in Q2 2025.
“The publication of this Tender is another indication of the ever-growing importance of rAST in Italy as a key pillar in the treatment of critical patients and the proper use of antibiotics in Italy”, said Franco Pellegrini, VP Sales EMEA at Q-linea.
