ProstaLund signs distribution agreement for Spain
ProstaLund AB has signed an exclusive distribution agreement with the Spanish company PRESURGY, S.L. The agreement is estimated to generate at least SEK 2 million in revenue during the first two years of the agreement period.
Earlier this year, ProstaLund began internationalization outside the Nordic region for its stand-alone products and earlier this year has distribution agreements been signed for the UK, Israel, Brazil and now Spain.
PRESURGY, S.L. is a Spanish company for the marketing of medical technology and has, among other things, a broad urological product portfolio and thus a wide network of urologists in the country.
The agreement covers both the Coreflow® - Soft Stent and Schelin® Catheter products as well as the CoreTherm concept. First sales are expected to come in the current quarter.
Yesterday, training for doctors from 4 hospitals in the Madrid area was carried out. Subsequently, the Schelin® catheter and CoreFlow® - Soft Stent were used together with Water Vapor therapy for the first time in Spain. The feedback was very positive.
"Although our focus is still CoreTherm in the Nordic region, with this agreement we now have a presence in two of the five largest countries in Europe. This means that I look with confidence at next year, says CEO Johan Wennerholm in a comment.
