The med-tec company PolarCool AB (publ.) further strengthens its presence in French professional rugby by formalizing a partnership with the Top 14 team, Section Paloise Béarn Pyrénées, solidifying the position of PolarCap® in the market.

PolarCool develops and markets the product PolarCap®, which alleviates the effects of concussions. The primary users of PolarCap® include sports clubs, organizations, and facilities in contact sports such as ice hockey, rugby, football, and handball, but also other sports with an increased risk of concussion.

PolarCool has recently achieved significant progress in French rugby market, at present Top 14 clubs providing PolarCap® include LOU Rugby, Stade Français, Racing 92, Aviron Bayonnais and Section Paloise.

Section Paloise Béarn Pyrénées is a prominent rugby union club based in Pau, France, competing in the Top 14. The club will use PolarCap® in an initial evaluation period, with the option to continue into a two-year commercial agreement.

The agreement with Section Paloise Béarn Pyrénées brings strategic value, even if the financial significance of individual agreements is limited.
