PolarCool

The med-tec company PolarCool AB (publ) continues to further establish PolarCap® in professional rugby, by signing an agreement with French Top 14 team Aviron Bayonnais.

PolarCool develops and markets the product PolarCap®, which alleviates the effects of concussions. The primary users of PolarCap® include sports clubs, organizations, and facilities in contact sports such as ice hockey, rugby, football, and handball, but also other sports with an increased risk of concussion.

Presently, renowned Top 14 clubs such as LOU Rugby, Stade Francais, and Racing 92 have signed agreements to provide the PolarCap® System. As the league campaign progresses, PolarCool has the objective to extend the reach of PolarCap® to additional Top 14 teams, aiming to forge more partnerships. Simultaneously, the company is actively pursuing the possibility of a comprehensive league-wide adoption by collaborating with the Ligue Nationale de Rugby, the authoritative professional league entity overseeing both the Top 14 and Pro D2 leagues in France.

PolarCool has recently achieved significant milestones by securing crucial partnerships within the professional rugby sphere. Notably, agreements have been secured with esteemed rugby bodies such as Australia Rugby, Georgia Rugby, and Portugal Rugby, all of which are actively participating in the ongoing Rugby World Cup in France.

PolarCool's goal is to continue to strengthen its presence in French rugby and the agreement brings strategic value, even if the financial significance of individual agreements is limited.
