Pharmacolog implements change in management team - dismisses CEO
The board has taken the decision based on its assessment that Per Persson is not the right person to lead the company. Erik Hedlund, with extensive experience in Pharmacolog, has now taken on the task of working with the way forward until a new CEO has been recruited. At the same time, the Board will complete the ongoing work with the company's strategic planning.
Erik Hedlund is a very experienced leader in MedTech with experience from both operational management and board work in many companies, such as Siemens Medical, RaySearch Laboratories AB and C-Rad AB.
The recruitment process of a new permanent CEO has begun now.
As a result of Erik Hedlund being appointed acting CEO, the Board has appointed Board member Björn Varnestig as the new Chairman of the Board. Erik Hedlund remains on the Board as an ordinary member.
