The commissions are part of the Swedish Transport Administration's investments in strengthening Swedish infrastructure. The contracts cover a total of 3.8 million m2 of roads with both low and high density traffic.

This maintenance will be carried out through tank paving, which is a method where new surface treatment prolongs the life of heavily worn roads. The paving is manufactured directly onsite, which cuts out transportation and makes the process both energy-efficient and effective.

Work will start at the end of April. The contracts in Örebro and Gävleborg are for 2026-2027 and in Södermanland and Västmanland for 2026-2028.

The projects will be order registered in the first quarter 2026.
