Peab builds defense industry facility in Jyväskylä
The project comprises building a defense industrial facility of approximately 7,300 m2. The facility will be used by Nammo Lapua Oy to manufacture artillery.
"We're very happy about the contract with Jykia Oy. We're bringing our experience and expertise in project management construction contracts with us into this exciting project in the defense industry," says Matti Joensuu, Region Manager Peab in Finland.
The project starts in January 2025 and is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
The project will be order registered in the fourth quarter 2024.
