Currently Route 27 runs through the town of Bor with its 14,000 inhabitants. Rerouting the road through a bypass west of Bor will increase traffic safety and improve accessibility. The new stretch of road will have a median barrier and a 100 km/h speed limit.

"At Peab we're proud that we've been entrusted with improving the infrastructure of our roads. Just like in the other roads we're rebuilding we'll use products like Peab's ECO-Asfalt to reduce climate impact," says Göran Wiking, Region Manager Peab.

Planning will start immediately and production is expected to commence in August 2025. The project is expected to be completed in October 2027.

The project will be order registered in the second quarter 2025.
