OX2 appoints Steve Symons new Vice president Australia
OX2 has appointed Steve Symons new Vice President, OX2 Australia, who will take on his new position as of May 13.
Steve Symons has about 20 years of experience in the renewable energy sector. Most recently he worked at Tilt Renewables, where he served as CFO for eight years, as well as interim the CEO position. Tilt Renewables is one of the largest and leading developers, owners, and managers of renewable energy generation assets in Australia.

In 2023 OX2 acquired the leading renewable developer ESCO Pacific in Australia. Since then, the company has sold its first solar farm and project rights for two solar projects. OX2 has also acquired its first onshore wind power project in Australia. The project, which is in an early stage, has a planned installed capacity of 1 GW. The total development portfolio in Australia is 2,418 MW and OX2 is active in solar, onshore wind and energy storage.
