Ovzon receives 3.1 MUSD order from U.S. DOD for SATCOM-as-a-Service

MAR

Ovzon has received, via Intelsat General Communications (IGC), an order for continuation of Ovzon’s SATCOM-as-a-Service from the United States Department of Defense (U.S. DOD). The service is renewed for approximately eight months and will start immediately.

Ovzon’s SATCOM-as-a-Service is the industry’s leading integrated satellite communication solution for critical missions. It combines Ovzon's mobile satellite terminals, integrated with resilient and high-performing satellite networks and 24/7/365 service and support.

Ovzon SATCOM-as-a-Service delivers an unmatched level of strategic, operational, and tactical agility to the U.S. DOD for their important and critical missions.

"Although this renewal, as of now, differs from previous years, our relationship with the U.S. DOD continues to be long-term, and we are strategically working together to support their critical missions around the world. We are also excited about the unique industry-first applications we can provide with the launching Ovzon 3 in just a few days”, says Per Norén, CEO of Ovzon.
