NYAB announced on 29 October 2024 that it, together with its partner Azvi, was selected as the general contractor for the construction of Uppsala Tramway.

Uppsala Municipality has today informed the participants in the procurement process that the award decision made on 29 October 2024 is withdrawn. Uppsala Municipality has determined that further assessments are necessary before awarding the contract. A new award decision will be announced as soon as possible.
